Description

Learn the basics of rigid heddle weaving with Peggy Murphy Payne of The Knotty Weaver. This class will give you a good introduction to the rigid heddle loom, why it’s called rigid heddle, how it is used, basic weave (tabby), types of yarn, sizes of looms and heddles and examples of what you can do with this versatile type of loom. You will leave with a sample piece that you wove! There will be 5 looms available for class use. Looms will be warped and ready for you to start weaving. Well, almost.

Class will be held at the Artists Emporium on MacDonald downtown Mesa.
